Nutrition Consultations

I use nutritional science combined with functional medicine, naturopathy and a dash of traditional Chinese medicine all mixed together, to get to the root of your problems!

Diet, exercise, stress, sleep, genetics and hormones are just some of the things that can cause our body to be 'out of balance' and 90% of the time it's more than one of these that are causing issues. So it makes sense that we need a few different healing tools and approaches in order to fix whatever is going on.

I use the Functional Medicine approach to nutrition- combining Naturopathy with evidence based scientific research to find the underling cause of disease.  My goal is to look at every aspect that can influence health and analyse any 'weak points' that may be contributing to your symptoms, including;

  • Diet- both nutrient deficiencies and excess

  • Exercise

  • Sleep

  • Stress management

  • Genetics

  • Lifestyle

  • Digestive health

  • Hormonal Balance

As I have worked in a herbal medicine clinic over the past 5 years, I also incorporate my knowledge of Traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine to my diagnoses.

What Happens at a Consultation?

Each client will be asked to fill in a detailed questionnaire when they arrive to the clinic. Each consultation takes 40- 60 minutes where we will discuss your goals, health complaints and medical history . You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions or voice any concerns you may have.

Each client will leave with a tailored nutrition and lifestyle plan consisting of (if needed);

  • Personalised Nutrition Plan

  • Full Dietary Analysis ( using scientific dietary analysis software)

  • Personlaised Herbal Tonic

  • Supplement recommendations

  • Exercise recommendations

  • Lifestyle recommendations- sleep, stress, cooking tips etc.

What Do You Need To Bring?

  • Your 4 day food diary. I will send you out a diet diary to complete and send back at-least 24 hours before your appointment.

  • If relevant, any recent blood/functional test results.

  • Any medications, nutritional or herbal supplements you are currently taking. ( A list of the dosages, brand names etc is fine). You can also bring any supplements that you have bought but are sitting in your cupboard unopened! I try and avoid the expense of buying supplements if possible.
